Did you know that our nervous system takes on different types of stressors on a daily basis?
We can break these stressors down into three different types: traumas, toxins, and thoughts.
toxins | chemical stress
This can be from ingredients in our foods, the air we breathe in, the water we drink, air pollutants, house hold products, or chemicals in our daily products such as makeup. When our body is under chemical toxins, it adds stress to our nervous system and creates an inability to adapt.
thoughts | emotional stress
Our emotions can play a large role in our health, especially when it comes to the nervous system. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, or erratic behavior can cause our nervous system to get "stuck" in a fight or flight state, where we are not able to heal or grow.
traumas | physical stress
When our body is injured or we endure a fall, car accident, or even micro traumas such as poor posture, wearing heels, or even a stressful birth can put stress on our postural system and within the nervous system.
The more stress your body takes on day to day will continue the stressors to pile up, making them harder to clear. By getting regular chiropractic care, it creates a balanced nervous system to adapt to these life stressors.
