We had such a fantastic February! Our residents sent Valentines to other communities in the area, received some from across the country (including Alaska and Texas), and celebrated with a resident party thrown by our activities team! We aren't quite ready to compete in the winter Olympics, but we did get physical with our snowball toss activity. We sure do have some athletic residents! We went on outings, played bingo with Kenny the dog, and welcomed new community members. The month ended with a birthday celebration with Bobby Dean. Thank you so much for being such a huge part of our celebrations, Bobby!

Each month, we share advice from the wisest members of our Spring Oak family: our residents. It’s one small way we continue to elevate their voices and honor the lives they’ve lived.

Our residents have been working extremely hard on showcasing their artistic abilities for you to see! You are invited to our resident Art Show this Friday, February 27th from 4 PM - 6 PM. We have some very gifted artists in our community, and we are so excited for you to enjoy their work. Resident art is for display only.

Meet our culinary team member, Alanis. At Spring Oak, we believe that a key facet of living a good life is learning about what you put into your body, and how it can affect you. Nutrition is at the heart of our core values, and our culinary team goes above and beyond to make each meal special for our residents. Happy Valentine's Day from Spring Oak Bedford! We had a wonderful week celebrating, including a Valentine's Day party filled with necklace making, candy heart tic-tac-toe, music, and a photo booth! We had a very caring visitor stop in and bring our residents red roses for the holiday. We are truly grateful to call Bedford home. Thank you for loving our community as much as we do!

Nora is a Resident Care Associate here at Spring Oak Bedford, and she makes sure every resident receives the best level of care while also encouraging everyone to have fun and laugh! She treats every resident with respect and dignity, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our team. Thank you for all that you do, Nora!
