Our residents had a blast creating bags full of school supplies for the crew at Bedford Primary School. We value our community and thank our teachers for the hard work they put into raising the next generation. ✏️🚌📚

For Skye, this isn’t just a new position – it’s deeply personal. Growing up in Bedford, she made countless memories in our community, from taking part in Little Town Players as a child, to celebrating her high school prom right here in our dining room. For her, this building has never just been walls and hallways – it’s always been a home filled with stories, friendships, and tradition.

Now, Skye’s mission is to honor that legacy while leading with compassion, integrity, and vision. She is committed to creating an environment where every resident, family member, and team member feels seen, heard, and valued – and where joy is found in everyday moments.

Over 30 businesses want to speak to YOU! All are actively hiring and are located in Bedford, Lynchburg, Roanoke, and surrounding areas. Blue collar work, healthcare, office jobs -- you name it, the Fall Job Fair has it.

Entry is free for job seekers, and childcare is available on-site. Transportation is available through the ConnectingVA app.

Employers will be accepting resumes and conducting interviews, and some will be hiring on the spot. Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions will be offered.

Spring Oak at Bedford is excited to partner with Bedford Get Together for a Concert on the Lawn at the Historic National Elks Home, featuring Thomas Taylor!

Entry is FREE and all additional proceeds will support efforts to restore Christmas at the Elks Home!

🪑 Bring your own chair and enjoy some family fun! We’ll have games for the kids, including face painting, co****le, and a bounce house!
