Summer Field Trip to Zaharakos in Columbus, Indiana. This Ice Cream Parlor, Restaurant, and Museum has been around since 1900! We all had a delightful trip! The food was delightful and the ice cream scrumptious! The antique soda fountains in the museum were beautiful, along with the carved oak and stained-glass.

Shirley has been dreaming of visiting the bakery she once worked at. Magic Morning Bakery was established in 1988 by her Son and Daughter-in-Law. Shirley used to wash the dishes there, which she stated was a lot of work, but she didn't mind it. Her Son owned the bakery for over 30 years. Shirley had a very memorable visit today. Magic Morning owners Andy and Emily Fortner greeted and reminisced with Shirley. They also made her favorite cake, German Chocolate, and presented it to her along with a Magic Morning T-Shirt. Shirley really enjoyed the cake; she also appreciated the sweet smells of the bakery, which she used to enjoy daily and had been missing. This was a dream come true for Shirley. We are very happy that Shirley got to live her Dream today!
