When Doug first came to Stonebridge, he was in very poor condition and preparing for hospice care. Unsure if recovery was even possible, Doug began his journey with us as a long-term resident.

Through dedication, a healthier diet, and the support of our Stonebridge team and family, Doug began to make remarkable progress. He worked tirelessly to regain his strength and lose weight so he could finally have the knee replacement surgery he needed.

A year and a half later, all of Doug’s hard work has paid off — he’s now heading home, walking proudly with just a cane by his side and his wife beside him. ❤️

Doug’s story is a true testament to perseverance, teamwork, and the power of never giving up. We couldn’t be prouder of his success!
