Today, our residents were treated to a truly uplifting experience as the beloved Valarie Cloutier visited our community for a special butterfly release event! Valarie is local to the community and raises butterflies every year.

With gentle hands and a heart full of joy, she shared the incredible journey of the butterfly—from chrysalis to colorful wings—before releasing a flutter of newly emerged butterflies into our garden.

Residents watched in awe as butterflies took flight, symbolizing hope, transformation, and new beginnings. It was a beautiful reminder that every stage of life holds its own kind of magic.

Thank you to Valarie the "Butterfly Lady" for bringing such wonder to our day—and to all the residents who joined us for this unforgettable event.

We’re kicking off National Assisted Living Week AND celebrating Grandparents Day with our annual Carnival on Sunday, September 7th — and you’re invited! 💜

Our Longview residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon at Ernie’s Seaside Restaurant, soaking up the ocean breeze, good company, and of course — some seriously delicious seafood!

From laughter over lobster rolls to stories shared with a view of the waves, this outing was all about connection, joy, and creating beautiful memories together.

This week, our residents laced up their dancing shoes and stepped into rhythm during our joyful Dance Lessons with Steps in Time. Whether it was a graceful waltz, a lively cha-cha, or simply swaying to the beat, everyone found their groove and shared plenty of smiles.

Today, our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the National Estuarine Research Reserve, where nature, science, and sunshine came together for an unforgettable day!

From scenic walks and wildlife spotting to learning about local ecosystems and conservation efforts, everyone had a chance to explore, connect, and marvel at the beauty around us.

Special thanks to the amazing staff at the reserve for making the experience so engaging and educational. Our community thrives on lifelong learning and meaningful moments like these.
