😏🥰You can give yourself permission.

👂🧭Listen to your internal compass and body when you need space from something, and go outside-ground yourself feet to earth, breath fresh air (5, 10, 15 minutes at least). 🌳🌲🌸🌻🌻🪷

🎤🎙️Speak up for yourself, your needs and boundaries are important and need to be said, otherwise how are others to really know?

🥰🥳Be kind to yourself!

🙈😭It’s okay to be emotional and vulnerable- it allows people (the right people) in, and shows you who may not be right or supportive in your life (so maybe take a step back from them, and lean in to those people you get to show your true, unmasked self).

Think about it:
What would it be like if you allowed yourself to be vulnerable with others? Would people learn the true you? How would some respond or react to the unmasked version of you? What could you gain from expressing your boundaries clearly and effectively with others, so they know what you need/want in your relationship?

Communication is key! I will continue repeating this message for anyone that needs to hear it.

There are countless times that I will come across this with someone in my life. Where I am asking a straightforward question and the other person will dance around the answer or avoid it all together, ghosting or leaving me on read. I understand how frustrating it can be as well!

“I just want the truth.” “Tell me how you feel?” “Tell me what you want from me?”

Journaling prompt for today- “What are my limiting beliefs?”

A limiting belief is a belief one has about themselves, their abilities, or lack of something that can hold you back from moving forward with something you want in your life.

✨NOTICE the limiting belief, the next time you think “I can’t” “I don’t have” “I need _ first”…that is likely a limiting belief. By doing this you are slowly shifting your mindset to recognize that these beliefs are no longer serving you and you will begin to release them.
✨ACKNOWLEDGE you are not bad for having this limiting belief. It is something that could have kept you safe for a long time, but no longer need now or it is no longer serving you.
✨REFLECT on when did this belief start? Is there someone in your life that told this to you until you believed it? Did you hear your loved ones or important people in your life say it?
✨SIT WITH IT, It being you emotions or thoughts that come up when noticing you have a limited belief. Feelings of shame or guilt? Blame or lack?
✨LET IT PASS; Someone smart once said that EMOTIONS are just Energy in MOTION. It’s good practice to acknowledge your feelings and sit with them long enough to let it pass through you, instead of bottling it inside until it explodes.
✨KEEP GOING; continue living your life. By shifting your mindset in these little ways you will start to see changes in your life too.

It takes time to stop unhelpful habits. It takes time to get used to spending time doing something for yourself, for the sake of your own healing.

I am learning the skills I need to maintain my personal boundaries, for my health and sanity. As I feel I am crawling out of the place of burnout. That starts with identifying my own boundaries…
🤔What do I want them to be?
✍️What are my boundaries for personal time?
✍️For my energy?
✍️For financial desires and needs?
✍️Do these boundaries align with my family and our values?
✍️Are they too rigid?
✍️Am I people pleasing?

These are the questions I am asking myself when I am journaling this foggy, misty afternoon. I encourage you to do the same for yourself!

What are you learning about yourself on this journey of life? 🥰
Remember to give yourself grace, forgiveness, and trust the process of self-discovery. I believe you (and I) will make it out of the difficult times through self care, healing, patience and trust! 💜
