🌻 **Reflections on My Journey** 🌻
This fall, as I reminisce about my childhood, I can’t help but smile. I spent sunny days grazing in the garden and pedaling my bicycle to deliver newspapers starting at just 10 years old. Back then, I believed the grocery store was solely for baking essentials like flour, sugar, baking soda, and spices.
Our family’s abundance came directly from Grandpa’s farm — fresh meat, eggs, and milk. The fruits were plucked from his orchard while the vegetables thrived in Mom’s garden. She preserved our joy in jars, canning everything from grape juice to hearty beef stew for winter days.
But somehow, life took a turn after marrying into a family that favored processed foods and fizzy drinks. I started reaching for box cake mixes and sipping on Pepsi, straying from that wholesome foundation I once had.
Now? I’m actively remodeling that foundation. 🌱
It’s a journey back to my roots, filled with passion for healthy eating and rediscovering the joys of fresh ingredients.
