It has been a very long day starting at 4:00 AM in Los Angeles, an early flight home to Fort Worth, and then a drive to Austin.
I was very fortunate to be afforded an opportunity to spend a few days with an incredible group of colleagues from the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE) reviewing and updating curriculum. The cooperation of such passionate and brillant educators promises an amazing future for funeral service. Thank you to Cypress Community College for their hospitality and Forest Lawn for the incredible private tour of their park and Great Mausoleum (in photo).
I am very excited for the next few days with the TFDA presenting CE and leading reviews for NBE canidates. I feel very blessed to be able to do the things I love everyday. As an added bonus, my son, Aiden, is tagging along and I look forward to exposing him more to what we do!
