Recovery is REAL, and so is the wisdom it brings. This , we’re collecting and sharing words of wisdom from people across the Commonwealth—those in recovery, loved ones, and professionals.

Today, we’re featuring Jasmine Smallwood, a person in recovery since February 2024:

“It’s perfectly ok to be imperfect. I put so much pressure on myself to be a good mother, get a degree, buy a home, stay involved in my children’s extra-curricular activities, etc., that my mental health declined and my alcoholism increased.”
