📚 Community Reading Day 2026 📚

We were honored to take part in the Bedford County Chamber Foundation’s Community Reading Day this year!

Marissa Leydig had the opportunity to read to her daughter Kendall’s class, and Robyn Isgan enjoyed reading to her son Carter’s class — where Robyn’s niece Jocey and nephew Cade are also students. It was such a special experience to spend time in the classroom sharing stories, laughter, and the joy of reading with these amazing kids. ❤️

This incredible community effort brought together over 100 volunteers, reaching 115 classrooms and more than 2,000 Bedford County students in grades Pre-K through 3rd grade. Each classroom received a new book, and students received patriotic bracelets and bookmarks to remember the day — creating lasting memories and inspiring young minds. 🇺🇸📖

We are so grateful to be part of a community that values education, connection, and investing in the next generation. Thank you to the Bedford County Chamber Foundation for organizing such a meaningful day!

The Gabriel Lee Friedline Memorial Run is an annual 5K run/walk held at Shawnee State Park in Schellsburg that honors the memory of baby Gabriel, who passed away from SIDS at just three months old. 

This event is more than just a race — it’s a day to come together as a community to remember Gabriel and support families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby or young child. The proceeds help local families cover final expenses after unexpected tragedies. 

📍 Location: Shawnee State Park – Pavilion #7
📅 Date: Sunday, May 24
🕘 Registration begins at 9:00 AM
🏃‍♀️ 5K Run/Walk starts at 10:00 AM
👶 Tot race for children 6 & under

Celebrating our Keystone PT Dream Team! 💙

I am incredibly grateful for the people who make Keystone Physical Therapy what it is. We had a fun time celebrating Marissa’s 1-year anniversary with Keystone PT and welcoming Kelsi as she begins her journey with our team!

We enjoyed lunch together in one of the cozy igloos at Bella Terra Bedford in Downtown Bedford, and it was the perfect way to spend time together outside the clinic — lots of laughs, great food, and even better company.

Marissa — thank you for the incredible care, experience, and compassion you bring to our patients every single day. We are so grateful you are part of Keystone PT.

Kelsi — we are so excited to have you join the team and can’t wait to see all the great things ahead!

We were missing our other amazing clinician, Nikki Ritchey, who is currently on vacation enjoying time with her wonderful family — but she was definitely missed!

These women are not only amazing clinicians, but amazing people. Our patients and our community are lucky to have them. Moments like this remind me how fortunate we are to work alongside such an incredible team.

I want to say thank you to whoever nominated and selected me for this recognition. It truly means more than I can put into words.

But the truth is — this recognition is not about me. I would be nowhere today without the incredible people who surround and support me every single day.

I am blessed with an amazing family — the Weaver, Hamler, Nachnani, and Isgan crews — and wonderful friends that help keep me grounded, focused, and constantly encouraged.

I am also unbelievably fortunate to work alongside the most incredible group of women at Keystone Physical Therapy.
Carrie, Sydney, Marissa, Nikki, and Kelsi — thank you for believing in this vision and taking a chance on me.

I especially want to recognize Marissa Leydig, Nichole Ritchey, and Kelsi Benner, who trusted in what we are building here at KPT. These therapists are not only incredibly skilled clinicians, but some of the most compassionate caregivers and incredibly amazing ladies I know. I am honored to work beside them every day, and I and our Keystone PT community are so lucky to have them in the area.

But the biggest thank you goes to our Keystone Physical Therapy patients and the Bedford community.
