Meet Richard, a long-term Bedford Hills resident whose life was limited by an ill-fitting electric wheelchair. It kept him from riding the facility bus, cut short his time outside, and made independence harder each day.
Thanks to the teamwork of Jim from NuMotion and Robin, his dedicated physical therapist, Richard now has a custom chair that finally meets his needs. It fits on the bus, offers comfort for more extended periods, and gives him the freedom to participate more fully in community life.
Today, Richard is smiling brighter, enjoying his independence, and living on his own terms. His story serves as a poignant reminder of how compassion, expertise, and teamwork can transform a life.
