This afternoon we packed up a Subway lunch and headed to Friendship Village for a relaxing picnic! 🌞 We enjoyed swinging, soaking in the sunshine, taking in the beautiful views, and ending our adventure with a sweet ice cream treat from the store. 🍦💛
Days filled with fresh air, laughter, friendship, and simple joys are the best kind of days!

We had the privilege of having our own Major Doug Miller present a beautiful Memorial Day ceremony for our residents and their families. A special thank you to our Activity Assistant, Nancy Mickey, for sharing her talents by playing both the trumpet and piano during the ceremony. Their dedication and heartfelt presentation helped make this Memorial Day truly meaningful as we honored and remembered those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸❤️

To all Veterans and current servicemen and women, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and service to our country. Your dedication and commitment will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

We ended the ceremony out on the portico enjoying red, white, and blue popsicles together while reflecting on the true meaning of Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

What better way to end a rainy, dreary week than with Ricky Howsare! He always brings a wonderful crowd, and our residents absolutely love having him here. We celebrated the afternoon with root beer and orange floats while wishing for warmer, sunnier days ahead. ☀️🍊🥤
