We had the honor of celebrating National Caregivers Day, and at The Courtyard, this day means so much to us. 💙

Our caregivers are truly the heart and soul of our community. They are the steady hands, the comforting voices, the patient listeners, and the smiling faces that make every single day brighter for our residents. The compassion they show, the dignity they protect, and the love they give so freely is something we deeply admire and never take for granted.

Being a caregiver is not just a job, it is a calling. It takes a very special person to care for others the way our team does. They celebrate the small victories, offer reassurance during difficult moments, and treat each resident like family. At The Courtyard, our caregivers go above and beyond in ways that often happen quietly and behind the scenes but those moments make all the difference.

To show just a small token of our appreciation, our LifeStages/LifeStories Director, Tyler, and our Executive Chef, Georgie, prepared homemade spaghetti meals for every member of our caregiving staff. 🍝✨ A warm, comforting meal for the warm, compassionate care they provide each and every day.

Yesterday we poured on the fun as we celebrated National Drink Wine Day here in the community! 🍷✨ Residents gathered to sip, socialize, and share lots of laughter (and maybe a few “cheers” 😉). From sweet to dry, everyone found a favorite while enjoying great company and even better conversation. It was the perfect excuse to raise a glass to friendship, fun, and making every day worth celebrating. 🥂

Because here, we don’t just age… we age like fine wine! ❤️🍇

🎭💜💚 And the 2026 Mardi Gras Float Champions Are… 💚💜🎭

We are SO proud to announce that our 2026 Mardi Gras Float Winners are none other than The Voodoo Queens! 👑✨

This dynamic duo Heidi, our Community Relations Director, and Brandy, our Executive Operations Officer brought the magic, the sparkle, and the Mardi Gras spirit to this year’s parade! From dazzling decorations to undeniable energy, they truly bewitched the crowd and earned the most votes.

Winners were determined by combining votes from our residents through in-person voting along with our Facebook followers liking their photo, and The Voodoo Queens came out on top!

They officially claim the 2026 Mardi Gras Float Trophy and the bragging rights that come with it! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who participated, voted, and celebrated with us. Our community spirit is what makes events like this so special!

Long live the Queens! 👑🎉

💜💛💚 Laissez les bons temps rouler! 💜💛💚

Yesterday our community came alive as we celebrated Mardi Gras with a festive parade all around the building! Residents and staff showed off their creativity, spirit, and smiles as beads were tossed and music filled the halls. 🎭🎶

We wrapped up the celebration with a GIANT community party bringing together our amazing residents, dedicated staff, supportive community partners, a few adorable furry friends 🐾, and of course… King Cake! 👑🍰

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special. The joy, laughter, and togetherness truly made it a day to remember! 💜💛💚

What an incredible celebration filled with creativity, color, music, and so much spirit! Our residents and team truly outdid themselves with their amazing floats this year!

Today our community had the most wonderful celebration of Chinese New Year as we learned about the traditions that began in China and are now celebrated around the world! 🧧🐉

We kicked off the festivities by opening our lucky red envelopes and the surprises inside were extra sweet this year! Each resident discovered anywhere from $5–$50 in Bingo Bucks, adding excitement, laughter, and a little friendly competition to the day.

Next, we learned all about fortune cookies and their connection to Chinese culture, sparking great conversation and a few smiles as everyone read their fortunes aloud. 🥠✨

One of the highlights of the celebration was a special dragon dance performance! Our very own team members puppeted a beautiful dragon, bringing energy, color, and tradition to life right before our eyes. The room was filled with applause and joy! 🐲

To end the celebration, each resident received a lucky Chinese New Year coin. We talked about the meaning behind these coins, symbols of prosperity, protection, and good fortune for the year ahead.

What a meaningful and fun way to celebrate together. Here’s to a year filled with health, happiness, and a little extra luck for us all! 🎊

💖 Valentine’s Day was definitely celebrated in style in our community today! 💖

We started the day by handing out valentines purchased to raise funds for the Special Olympics of Greater Pennsylvania to each of our residents!!! This was followed by a delightful Sweetheart Lunch for all of our couples and special friends!! We ended our afternoon with a charming Valentine’s Day Tea Party.

A huge thank you to Dollar Tree in Everett for their generous donation of over 80 balloons, ensuring every resident received one and truly spreading the love throughout our community. 🎈❤️

Our residents are getting ready for our BIG Mardi Gras Parade next Tuesday! 🎭💜💛💚 Today we dove into the spirit of New Orleans by creating festive Mardi Gras masks full of feathers, glitter, beads, and lots of personality! From bold and colorful designs to classic purple, green, and gold masterpieces, everyone is excited to show off their creations during the parade. The laughter, creativity, and teamwork made today extra special. We can’t wait to see our community shining bright and celebrating together next week! 🎉✨
