I wanted to share some thoughts I have had this morning while sitting in front of my window letting the sun stream in on me as I work leisurely on a crochet blanket.
It occurred to me that for the last several months my vibrational energy has been pretty low. I don’t know how I was lulled into that low vibrational level but I do know that I have the power to change that. And so do you.
“Raising your vibration" is a concept that refers to increasing your spiritual connection and positive energy. Vibration is kind of synonymous with mood but deeper. Some ways to raise your vibration include:
Practicing gratitude: Being grateful for what you have can help you emit a high-frequency vibration that resonates with joy, love, and abundance.
Meditating: Meditation can help strengthen your vagus nerve, which can lower stress, anxiety, and depression levels. There are some awesome guided meditations available on YouTube that can help if you find it hard to meditate in stillness.
Connecting with nature: Spending time in nature can help purify your vibrations. That can be super challenging with the weather we have had lately, but even filling a bird feeder and watching the birds can be a way to connect from indoors.
Being creative: Creative people are often good at problem-solving and embracing new ideas. Creativity can be nurtured in many ways. Cooking, art, writing and journaling, hobbies, music, dance….any way you can find to express yourself and create something unique to you.
Moving your body: Movement can help release neurochemicals like endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine, which can boost your mood and help you relax. It doesn’t have to be structured or strenuous. Just move!
Repeating affirmations: Repeating positive affirmations to yourself can help keep your mood high. We have some things in our community that we call “Truth Principles” that encourage you to trust the Universe and not your own negative self talk.
Practicing forgiveness: Practicing forgiveness can help raise your vibration. Letting go of anger, of the past, releasing yourself from the drag of trying to control things that you have no control over can be the quickest way to raise your vibration and mood.
Being kind: Being kind to others can help raise your vibration. Sending into the universe good karma and healing energy by being that light in the dark world and loving your neighbor is the ultimate gift. Just a smile, a greeting, letting someone cut line at the grocery store, looking for the little ways we can show kindness automatically sends our mood higher.
Being aware of your thoughts: Your thoughts can fuel your frequency, so being aware of them can help raise your vibration. Watch where you focus energy. Is it draining you or freeing you? We can create our own reality quicker than many people realize just with our thoughts.
I hope you find encouragement in this. We all need each other. We are intricately connected with the Divine, Earth, and the whole of humanity. Slow down your breathing and allow the Intelligent Pulse of Life to flow freely through and from you.
