Today, we were honored to be the location for the Celebration of Life for Daniel Pocek. Dan faithfully served the City of Bedford for 30 years, as a council member and as Mayor, guiding our community with vision, integrity, and true dedication.

Dan and his wife Christine have been longtime friends of Light of Hearts Villa, and it was a privilege to welcome their family and friends to the Villa today. Beautiful, heartfelt remarks were shared, reflecting a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue to shine brightly throughout the City of Bedford.

May Dan’s memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him. 💙

Christmas at Light of Hearts Villa is always pure magic. From celebrating the birth of Jesus to sharing joy, laughter, and love with one another, this season fills our hearts in the most beautiful way. ✨

Our Resident Christmas Party was full of smiles and surprises… special visits from Santa Claus, his reindeer friends, and even the Grinch made it a day to remember!

We are so grateful for the love that surrounds our residents each and every day.

We had the happiest celebration on Tuesday for Mickey Mouse’s 97th birthday! Our residents donned their Mickey ears, enjoyed treats, and were serenaded with fantastic live entertainment from the always-wonderful Kellie Karl. 💙🎶

It was a day full of smiles, music, and a little Disney magic right here at Light of Hearts Villa. ✨

“Where there is love, there is God.” 💙 We celebrate fellowship in so many ways here at the Villa... a lovely ladies tea, a meaningful Men’s Group gathering, and a fun ceramic mug-painting activity.
A beautiful reminder that joy is found in community, creativity, and shared moments. ✨

Flea Market fun at Light of Hearts Villa! 💙 We’re open today (11/14) until 6 PM and tomorrow (11/15) from 8 AM–2 PM in the Activity Center. Come hunt for treasures and support our residents through the Sister Helen T. Scasny, SC Benevolent Fund.

Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly celebrated our resident and team member veterans with a heartfelt pinning ceremony, beautifully sponsored by our friends at Harmony Hospice. The ceremony included a moving sing-a-long of “This Land Is Your Land,” a touching prayer, a symbolic Fallen Comrade table, and delicious cake and refreshments to honor those who have served.

We were especially honored that our very own Navy veteran, Chris Sanders, performed the pinning for:

🎖️ Bill McClellan – Army
🎖️ Harold Rodgers – Army
⚓ Tony Smetana – Navy
