❄️❄️With the upcoming forecast for MORE SNOW later today we don't want you to feel sad about it, but feel ready and prepared with our safe snow removal tips!!❄️❄️
1. Best to have good boots for traction, gloves, hat and some reflective clothing.
2. Start to shovel and/or snow blow during the storm. This will decrease your overall load as you can move 4-6” at a time more easily than 8-12”. If you can not get out during the storm try keep your loads light by removing a few inches off the top at a time, rather than attempting to shovel the full depth at once.
3. Always face towards the snow area you intend to move by having your shoulders and hips both squarely facing the pile. If you can, try and push snow off of the area that you are clearing instead of lifting it. Also, keep changing your hand position so you work both sides of your body equally.
4. When you lift: bend your knees and lift with your leg muscles, keeping your back with an arched curve in it and your butt out. Toss the snow forward and not over your shoulder. If you do need to move the snow to the side, be sure to avoid twisting and pivot your whole body with your legs to face the new direction. Walk to the new location to deposit the snow rather than reaching or tossing.
5. When shoveling, take a break for a minute or two every 10-15 minutes or if you feel overworked at any point keeping your exertion level no higher than a 6 out of 10 on a 0 to 10 scale- 10 indicating absolute exhaustion.
6. If you have access to one, try to use a snowblower as this does reduce the amount of load and strain on your body but you do want to avoid stressing your back by using the power of your legs when wrestling with the snow blower. Keep upright and your back straight. Bend your knees and also not try to push the snow blower, but guide it at the speed that it is designed to go.

Stay safe out there! And remember if there is a chance you will interact with someone that is not in your pod while out performing snow removal use a face mask when you are within 6 feet!

Here is a healthy and delicious recipe to score a touchdown for your health and fitness goals. On Super Bowl Sunday we've got you covered with our Buffalo Cauliflower😋!
Have a Super Safe Super Bowl with your immediate pod. Enjoy the game!!

Buffalo Cauliflower

INGREDIENTS
for the cauliflower
1 head cauliflower, chopped into florets
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/5 cup milk
for the buffalo sauce
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
3 tablespoons salted butter add 1/8 teaspoon salt if using unsalted butter
ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and grease a baking sheet.
Stir together salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir in milk.
Dip cauliflower in the milk mixture, turning to coat completely, shake off excess and arrange in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes, use a fork to turn over cauliflower pieces, and bake another 10 minutes.
While cauliflower is baking, combine buffalo wing sauce, butter, and honey in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cook 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Brush buffalo sauce all over the baked cauliflower, bake another 10 minutes (I like to broil it for the last 2-3 minutes).

Serve fresh with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
