There’s a quiet thought many women carry:

I’ve been meaning to look into this.
I’ll do it when things calm down.
And somehow… that moment never quite comes.

So this is a different kind of invitation.
Not to add more to your list, but to schedule yourself in.

Picture this Wednesday evening:
- Your calendar is blocked.
- The house is settled or a sitter is arranged.
- A cup of tea or a glass of wine is in your hands.
- You’re cozy, present, and finally giving yourself space to listen.

This webinar is meant to be that pause.

Not rushed.
Not clinical.
Not something to half-listen to while doing ten other things.

Just a moment to understand what your body has been quietly asking for: fatigue, mood shifts, sleep struggles, low libido, burnout, that feeling of being “off.”

So many women feel guilty doing something just for themselves… especially when they’re the ones holding everything together.

But when hormones, energy, and the nervous system are supported, everyone feels it.

If you’re the sun in your solar system, caring for your health doesn’t pull you away… it stabilizes the entire system.

This isn’t stepping away from your life.
It’s investing in how you show up for it.

So consider this your permission slip.
Block the evening. Cozy up. Invite a friend.

Let this be the moment you stop postponing the support your body has been asking for.

Drop a 🤍 and I’ll send you the link.

My heart is in this.

In movement.
In the medicine it carries, the way it clears the mind, steadies the hormones, regulates the nervous system, and reconnects us to something deeper inside.

Movement has changed me.
It has carried me through seasons of stress, grief, overwhelm, and transition.
It has changed the people I love, too, softening edges, strengthening foundations, bringing clarity back where fog once lived.

And my heart is in this community, in watching you choose strength over stagnation, softness over burnout, connection over isolation.
We’re not meant to do life alone.
We’re meant to lift each other.

The Winter Movement Challenge began this week, and I would love for you to join us.
It’s free.
It’s simple.
It’s meant to meet you exactly where you are.

Walk, stretch, dance in your kitchen, shovel snow, roll out a mat… it all counts.
One small daily rhythm.
One act of care.
One step toward remembering that your body wants to thrive.

If your spirit is nudging you… listen.
There’s a place for you here.

I don’t know what you need until I’ve truly sat with you…
until I’ve listened to the rhythm of your words, the way your body holds tension,
the story beneath the story.

And even then, my observations are simply that:
observations.
Insights.
Possibilities.

You always get to say,
“Not that.”
“Not yet.”
“That doesn’t resonate.”

Because no practitioner, no expert, no protocol knows your body or your path better than you do.

My role is to walk alongside you… not ahead of you.

To help you hear your own intuition more clearly.
To reflect you back to yourself.

And this is one of the reasons I care so deeply about the free Winter Movement Challenge our practice is doing.

Movement isn’t just physical.. it’s a homecoming.

It frees the weight you’ve been carrying, returns your spirit to your body, clears your mind, and reconnects you with the part of you that knows
the part that’s steady, wise, sovereign.

It’s one small daily act of choosing yourself.
An anchor.
A ritual of remembering who you are.

If you want to join us, it started yesterday, but you can still sign up!

She hadn’t changed her diet.
She’d stopped her supplements.
But her labs – labs that had shown elevated autoimmunity for years – were normal. Negative. Quiet.

I paused and asked her,
“What do you think happened?”

She hesitated, not sure if she could say it out loud.
She’s not someone who’s steeped in “woo,” not someone who follows wellness influencers or tracks energy cycles.

But then she said,
“I think… I closed a karmic loop.”

And then she told me the story.

As a little girl, she saw a picture in her mother’s travel book – a photo of a place far from home. Something about it spoke to her soul, set a course for her life.

That image planted a seed in her soul.

Her life took many twists and turns. She moved countries. Fell in love. Married. Raised her children. Faced hardships. Divorced. Walked away.

And just this year… she stood in that place. The one from the photo.
The place that shaped her earliest dream of who she might become.

Her voice shook as she said,
“I lived the full arc. I felt complete standing there, looking at the view I first saw as a child.
And now… my body is healing.”

I got goosebumps.

She hadn’t “optimized” her way to better labs.
She had completed something. And her body knew.
We forget that physical healing doesn’t always begin in the physical.

Sometimes it starts in the metaphysical – through deep resolution, soul closure, and the truth that lives in our bones.

As women, we know.
We carry stories we’ve never said aloud, because we’ve been afraid of sounding “too much,” “too mystical,” or “not scientific enough.”

But what if your body is waiting for you to speak it?
To be it?

Your story is your health.
Your truth can be your turning point.

And your healing may not begin with a diet or a detox –
But with the moment you finally arrive in your own life.

05/11/2025

When I gave birth to my babies, I always opted for an epidural in the end. My animal body would be so wracked with pain (especially in my twin birth, where contractions felt entirely endless and uncoordinated) that I would be vomiting and weak because the experience was so overwhelming to my system.

I’ll never be sad about the way that I birthed my babies. It was the way that they were meant to come into this world, and it was perfect.

And, the birth portal that I have been in over the last 3 years has shown me that all women will experience the transformative process of birth one way or another. We will either birth children onto this planet or we will birth ourselves through our own transformative processes. Or both.

Nature is perfect. God is perfect. There is no possibility to get through this life unchanged and ultimately, I’ve been grateful for that. Grateful for my ever expanding capacity to be with my own growth and change. Grateful for those who have been birthed by me (my authentic self included) and grateful to those who have stood in support and witness, loving me in their own quiet (and sometimes quite loud), fierce strength and fortitude.

I’m also grateful for those who have shown that they will not or cannot be witness to my process. For those who have stood in abject opposition. Those who cannot abide by the changes I’ve gone through for any number of reasons. I send them the most abundant blessings because they have been the most instrumental in my transformation.

True transformation needs the containment, the pressure, the friction, and the slow and persistent travel down the passageway.

The support, love, and grace are needed.
The alchemization of suffering into unconditional love is needed.

For the women who have birthed their own children and the women who have birthed themselves through deep and transformative processes:

I see you.
Happiest Mother’s Day

To those who have supported these women in deep and devoted love or in opposition, I see you also.

I’m grateful for you.
I love you.

This one’s for the mamas in the middle of it all.
Not new to motherhood.
Not quite empty nesting.
Just somewhere in between –
Holding it all, holding everyone, and finally beginning to hold yourself.

Let’s be honest, traditional medicine doesn’t talk enough about this season.

The one where your hormones shift, your body changes,
and your soul starts whispering louder than ever:
“Come home to yourself.”

You’re not “just getting older.”
You’re walking through a powerful portal of transformation.

This is the enchantress era.
But even enchantresses need support.

Here’s what’s been supporting me lately – and what I often recommend for women in their 40s whose hormones and nervous systems are calling for deeper nourishment:

✨ Shatavari: for libido, sensuality, energy, and intuitive power (especially if you’re not estrogen dominant)
✨ Vitex or microdose progesterone cream (during luteal phase, days 14+): to gently support hormonal balance
✨ Cordyceps: adrenal support that actually replenishes, not just stimulates
✨ Adequate protein: 100g/day if you can, at least 75g. Clean and consistent. Game changer.
✨ Daily movement: intuitive, joyful, sometimes just dancing barefoot in the rain

You don’t need to earn rest.
You don’t need to push harder.
Your body is wise, and it’s asking you to listen.

And if this resonates – message me about my next Joie Masterclass and for a free month pass.

It’s powerful. It’s intuitive.
And it’s giving women their voices back in the medical system.

I’ll be teaching you how. 💛

Many of my patients are CEO’s, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home-parents, or small business owners and one of the most powerful prescriptions I give is ….
SLOW THE F*%&K DOWN.

Is this received well? Typically with a nervous chuckle.

Why? Because we high-achievers are accustomed to making things happen.

“Slow down” is a phrase that strikes fear into our hearts and “no” doesn’t resonate with us because we’re used to making miracles happen.

But when exhaustion sets in and solutions don’t bring immediate results, becoming patient, slow, and intentional becomes the hardest medicine to take.

I want you to visualize this:
Imagine a parched riverbed. The soil is cracked, dry, and starving for water. Occasionally, a flash flood comes through - a deluge of water.
But because the riverbed has been dry for so long, the water simply runs off. It’s too intense, too brief, and cannot be absorbed.

This is often how people approach self-care when they’re high achievers.

💧A drop of rain: Sporadic “self-care hacks” that barely scratch the surface.

💧A flash flood: Dramatic overhauls - strict diets, intense workouts, or extreme life changes - that completely overwhelm the system.

Neither approach nourishes the body long-term.
What’s missing? Patience.

True healing is like a gentle, consistent rain. It’s the slow process of daily alignment and trusting the journey, even when results aren’t immediate.

It’s letting small, steady changes rebuild your foundation:
Watching cracks fill in
Seeing the soil grow darker and richer
Witnessing life return to the riverbanks

✨ Patience requires a certain level of faith.
It’s trusting something greater than your willpower. It’s letting go of quick fixes and allowing time to do its work.

If you’re in a place of surrender, know this: You’re on the path to growth. Stay consistent. Let the rain work its magic. Slowly but surely, you’ll see transformation.

🌿 You are healing. Trust the process. 🌿

Unpopular medical opinion: not every physical symptom we experience is in need of fixing.

As a culture, we’ve lost the ability to sit with discomfort. Our healthcare system reflects this, prioritizing quick symptom relief over deeper discovery and resolution.
It took time for me to honor the teachings within my own discomfort. Through that process, I learned to honor the process in others, without rushing to “fix” what might simply need space to be understood.

Our bodies are vessels for the messages of our psyches.
Deep, soulful truths are always being communicated. In my 15 years of practice, I’ve found there are three types of symptoms, each requiring specific attention:

✨ 1. Symptoms of Denial
These arise when we’ve been ignoring or disconnecting from our body’s needs for too long.
Example: Discovering elevated cholesterol or inflammation markers after years of neglecting check-ups.
What to do: Release any judgment or fear, begin to put yourself on the list of priorities, initiate and follow a protocol (medications or herbs and lifestyle modification) for resolution and verify that you’re reaching your goals. It’s an invitation to realign.

✨ 2. Symptoms of Discomfort
These are the whispers before the screams - early signs of imbalance.
Example: Struggling with poor sleep, anxiety, or hormonal shifts.
What to do: These symptoms call for nurturing interventions like herbal remedies, stress reduction, or lifestyle adjustments. Nuanced testing allows you to see the details in what your body is telling you.

✨ 3. Symptoms of Design
Here’s where the soul steps in, using the physical body to guide you toward deeper awareness and alignment.
Example: Depression that stems from a misaligned life path or unresolved emotional patterns.
What to do: These symptoms are not to be silenced but understood. They’re an opportunity to uncover profound truths about your choices and direction.

When we honor our symptoms as messengers, we empower our physical health, and our mental, emotional, and spiritual resilience.

Healing is never about perfection - connection, compassion, and the courage to listen to your body’s innate wisdom.

💛With love and healing,
Dr. C

01/04/2025

These days, I feel it all.
And though there was a time when I would have actively and excitedly charged into the new year, bypassing the depth of my emotions for the sake of forward momentum, I have no desire to miss the quiet magic of true change.

Each of my breaths feels like a quiet renewal, a gentle invitation to pause.
Each morning, as I walk and reach the hilltop, the world is still, wrapped in the calm of a new day, a new year.

In my haste, I’ve often missed the gifts in my life.
The mischievous spark in Luna’s eyes as she asks me to play with her, the depth of conversation that can be had with those closest to me over coffee, the hope that amplifies in a patient’s eyes when healing begins after so much doubt.

What I understand now is this: hope takes courage.

Slowing down, truly listening to the heart, and honoring its whispers - that’s where transformation begins.

And it takes hope and courage to do so. It takes persistence and a well-calibrated compass.

Maybe this year, the challenge for you is to walk slower, softer, savoring each step. Or perhaps your soul craves action, vibrant and alive, moving boldly toward the life you’ve dreamed of. Or maybe you’re somewhere in between - a steady rhythm of trust, knowing that you and life are working in harmony.

Wherever you are, it’s perfect. Trust it.
This year, I invite you to pause and ask yourself: What do I truly need?

This is not what culture dictates. These are not the pleasing actions of the good girl. Not what’s expected. But what your heart is gently calling you toward. Honor it. In doing so, you’ll create not only healing within yourself, but ripples of love and healing in the world around you.

And oh, how the world needs that.

So, wrap yourself in grace. Let this year be the unveiling of your soul - a time to rest, to renew, and to shine brightly. 🌙✨

With love, always.

Is low testosterone becoming the new norm? 🚹

Testosterone levels in men are declining at an alarming rate, and it’s no longer just about getting older. Our modern lifestyles may be sabotaging the body’s ability to maintain healthy testosterone levels.

This month, I’m excited to start showcasing teachings from our amazing new nurse practitioner, Cassie, who is currently studying to become a Naturopathic Doctor!

Each month, she’ll be diving deep into topics that matter to your health and wellness, starting with this critical issue.

Did you know that chronic stress, poor diet, and lifestyle choices can all contribute to this decline? When your body is under constant stress, it prioritizes survival over s*x hormone production, leading to lower testosterone levels and higher estrogen levels. This can have a cascading effect on your health, from weight gain to mood changes, and much more.

But there’s always hope! Understanding the root causes of low testosterone and making simple, yet impactful, changes can make all the difference.

👉 To dive deeper into this topic and discover natural ways to counteract low testosterone, head over to the blog (link in bio). Trust me, you don’t want to miss this!

Simple and seasonal is my mantra when it comes to nourishing my body! 🍑

With the lingering heat here in Northern Italy, I’m leaning into the bountiful harvest of the end of summer by letting perfectly tree-ripe fruits take center stage on my plate.

Right now, figs or melon paired with prosciutto and peaches with creamy burrata are regulars in my kitchen. These easy, delicious, and seasonal dishes are truly nourishing my body (and soul).

Here’s a simple Italian recipe you can try at home…

Peach & Burrata Salad:
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced 🍑
- 1 ball of fresh burrata cheese, torn into pieces
- A handful of fresh basil leaves
- Drizzle of high-quality extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic reduction (or white balsamic) to taste
- Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Directions:
🍑Arrange the peach slices on a plate and scatter the torn burrata over the top.
🍑Add the fresh basil leaves.
🍑Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
🍑Season with sea salt and black pepper.

Buon Appetito! This dish is the epitome of end of summer in simplicity and flavor, offering a little taste of Italy wherever you are. 🤍

“To begin healing, stop kidding yourself that a little feel-good of the wrong sort will take care of a broken leg. Tell the truth about your wound, and then you will get a truthful picture of the remedy to apply to it. Don’t pack whatever is easiest or most available into the emptiness. Hold out for the right medicine. You will recognize it because it makes your life stronger rather than weaker.”
- 💫

The last couple of years have been a time of deep introspection for me. They pushed me to reassess everything – from my relationships to how I navigate this world.

This hasn’t been easy, but it’s been vital for my soul’s growth.

There comes a moment when we all face our patterns and ask ourselves: “Do I keep subscribing to my own BS, or do I choose change?”

As Mary Oliver said, “Congratulations if you have changed.” 🦋

Deep healing requires honesty, courage, and the willingness to choose what truly serves us. This quote resonates deeply as we step into the new season, encouraging us to hold out for what truly strengthens our lives.

Where are you being called to grow deeper, live more fully, and embrace love more authentically?
