September is Fall Prevention Month -
Stepping into Home Care Support

Every year, 1 in 4 adults aged 65 and older experiences a fall. For older adults, one fall can change everything. Injuries from falls can lead to long-term disability, hospitalizations, or the need for institutional care. But many falls are preventable.

That’s where home care makes a difference.

How Home Care Helps:

• Daily Support: Caregivers assist with mobility, bathing, dressing, and transfers to reduce the risk of falls.

• Safe Environments: Home care can help identify hazards in the home and recommend safety improvements.

• Regular Monitoring: Consistent check-ins can catch early signs of health or mobility changes

If you need home care support and your loved one is a Veteran or surviving spouse, they may be eligible for a benefit that may help pay for home care assistance. Call us today to find out more.
