Dear Supporters & Friends,
It's week 4 out of 7 of our Student Visionaries of the Year campaign! We can see the finish line but have LOTS to accomplish before we reach our goal. Today is a special day for our campaign.
Sunday, February 4" is WORLD CANCER DAY!
On this day, people all over the world will be raising awareness for the fight against cancer. My team, Heroes of Hope, and I are so proud to be a part of what LLS is doing to fight blood cancers.

We have made great progress towards our goal of raising $30 K, but we still have work to do before the Grand Finale on MARCH # 2. If you have already donated, THANK YOU! We are so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people!

Please read this letter from our daughter Bethie who is running for Student of the Year!

I am honored to announce I have been selected as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's fundraising event called Students of the Year to raise money and awareness for blood cancer patients and their families. LLS’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.


When I was 3 years old I suffered from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It was a trying time. I had to undergo many treatments and I even had to get a stem-cell transplant to replace the cells that I lost during chemotherapy. I eventually got better thanks to all the cancer research that has been conducted, the donations that have been given to the ongoing search for a cure, and all the support I received. I encourage you to join me in supporting LLS by making a tax-deductible donation to my fundraising campaign to help other kids who are suffering from the same or similar cancer that I was 11 years ago.

Your donation not only supports my fundraising but the millions of patients and their families touched by blood cancer.

From January 16th through March 7th, you can join the cause to stop cancer and save the lives of cancer patients like me by donating to the Heroes of Hope team campaign. Hi! We are open and seeing patients. We are all wearing masks and ask all patients to do the same! We are scheduling appointments further apart than normal and ask that drivers come in only if necessary. Telehealth appointments are still available.
