At St. David's HealthCare, our patients have access to the highest level of neonatal care available. Within our system, we have NICUs spanning from Level I to Level IV, meaning we are able to get infants the care they need when they need it. Our Level IV NICU at St. David's Medical Center is home to one of only two doctors in Austin who hold the Neonatal Neuro-Critical Care Certification, a prestigious sub specialization in neonatology. This certification enhances the level of care we provide to our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit babies, ensuring expert and specialized treatment for the tiniest patients. St. David’s South Austin Medical Center is proud to be home to Austin’s only adult transplant and cellular therapy program, and therefore it’s very important to us we raise awareness and critical funds for blood cancer research. To do this, we partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Last week, we had the joy of teaming up with both LLS and their partner Austin Subaru as part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. 💙 Together, they delivered warm, fuzzy blankets and heartfelt messages to our oncology patients right here at SDSAMC—a small gesture that brings big comfort to those facing some of their toughest days.

It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful community, compassion, and a little bit of cozy can be.

Since opening in 1983 as Round Rock’s first hospital, our facility has grown from a 75-bed, 55,000-square-foot hospital to a state-of-the-art medical center with over 200 beds and room to grow even more.

• A 34-bed Intensive Care Unit
• 75 new jobs added to our team
