Post top surgery massage applies a specific protocol to support healing and recovery. It can begin as soon as 4 weeks after surgery, and it can still support positive change even years after the procedure.

I use lymphatic drainage techniques, scar massage, myofascial release, and stretching to improve recovery time, scar healing and mobility, and range of motion.

I also arrive at the work mindful of the vulnerability I'm being allowed to access. This is a place of honor in which I get to exist as a practitioner. I take this honor very seriously. Trans people deserve safe space and care, just like all people; I'm committed to offering that through my practice.

If you or someone you know could use this care, let's make it happen.

If you're trans, regardless of surgery situations, you're safe with me, and I'd be glad to welcome you onto the table.

This weather has been fickle, to say the least. Even still, there’s a common anxiety that’s coming up for folks as things trend warmer. Is it potentially awkward? Sure. But, let’s talk about it anyway!

The intentional speed of my work coupled with my deep curiosity about what I'm feeling as I go make for a petty good massage if my reviews are to be believed.

Something that I love about massage is this: It won't make everything better, but it'll make something better - every time.

Of all the gifts I've tried to shape into something worth sharing with the world, massage is the one I feel confident makes a positive impact - every time.

One, this is the actual speed of this massage. I aim for a nice, easy dialog with your nervous system during most of my work. Nothing to get excited about, just getting deep into your body without making you tense up.

Two, I like to work complex joints like shoulders and hips from a lot of angles in a lot of positions. I love traction to invite space where it's needed. I work tissue when it's at its shortest, middle, and full length to keep that dialog dynamic. Broad handed holds and fingertip techniques offer a different sensory input, and both have their place in a good massage.

If you're lifting, doing martial arts or physical competitions, laboring at work, home or in the garden, or if you're spending a lot of time at the computer, your shoulders deserve some attention.

Get on a massage table. Do yourself a favor.

Attention to detail is key to an effective, therapeutic massage. My approach to massage isn't just about broad strokes; it's about offering sensory input to all the tissues from connective tissue and prime movers to stabilizers, inviting the nervous system to a more acute awareness of what's going on in the musculofascial system.

Slowly moving tissue in all directions gives me good information about where issues might be hiding, and it supports my client's journey to less pain and greater mobility by offering intentional sensory input.

Every part of your body is interdependent, not just connected. Those relationships are supported by encouraging your nervous system in improving communication amongst all those parts. Massage is a great tool to help accomplish this.

My approach to massage is curiosity-led. I check in with all parts of a muscle to find the issues in the tissues. I apply the best techniques for what I find, thinking always about how I'm engaging the nervous system with the sensory input I'm offering. The aim is to provoke a nervous system response that brings pain relief, improved range of motion, relaxation, and resolves the issues in those tissues.

My massage is precise, targeted, and always a response to what I find in each session; I don't have a routine. Every body is different, and every body is different in each session.

The story of your body is an evolving one. My work evolves with it over time, massage to massage.
