Everyone here at Clinico is grateful that much of Beggs and it's residents were spared by the storms last night. We also grieve with the community for those lost and the damage done. Our thoughts are with the families who have suffered.

Due to training related to starting Electronic Medical Records, the clinic will be closed to patients through Wednesday, February 4th. We will be open in a limited capacity Thursday, February 5th and Friday, February 6th.

Good news from the new Scholastic Kids & Family Reading Report: 79 percent of parents with children 0-5 use books to help with parenting, particularly in teaching emotions and exploring interests. Not so good: There’s been a decline in reading aloud from birth, with only 37 percent of parents starting before 3 months (down from 43 percent in 2018). If you live in this area and want to experience healing from trauma, I highly recommend Whitney at Palo Santo Therapy in Tulsa. There is a huge difference between CBT (trauma based/informed or not) and Somatic Experiencing therapy which includes Somatic Touch and I am so grateful to have found her.
