Starting October 13, The Loop will officially stop at the Bykota Senior Center on both the Purple and Orange routes — making it easier than ever for Towson seniors to stay active, social, and connected without worrying about parking.

👏 This is a great use of taxpayer dollars — and one we should all support.

💡 Senior Centers like Bykota are critical lifelines in our community:
• They provide free meals, fitness classes, and arts & crafts
• They offer health screenings, transportation, and social engagement
• They fight isolation, promote independence, and give older adults the respect, dignity, and community they deserve

📍If you have a senior in your life — a parent, neighbor, friend, or client — tell them to check it out.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every October, communities come together to recognize this national campaign that promotes breast cancer awareness, early detection, education, fundraising, and more.

One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Senior Placements by Patty honors all of those who have been affected by this disease.

How can everyone support Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
-If you know someone who is living with or has been affected by breast cancer, check in on them to see how they're doing.
-Schedule your annual mammogram. Encourage your friends and family to do the same.
-Learn about breast cancer. Research early warning signs, risk factors, etc.
-Volunteer for local events like walks or drives or donate to trusted charities that support breast cancer research, programs that support people living with breast cancer, and education.
-Wear pink and spread the word!
