In every moment we might need something different…

Sometimes movement, sometimes breath, sometimes mindful awareness or access to the observer…

In my experience empowerment leads to transformation and growth aka healing, freedom and inner peace. Yoga in its fullness has been the key to empowerment for me and many others.

These yogic practices can inspire empowerment, transformation and growth!

😮‍💨Pranayama = breathwork or breath awareness. It’s practiced many different ways with many techniques and has the power to regulate the nervous system as well as move energy, ground and nourish!

🧘‍♀️Yoga Asana = movement of the body through poses. So many ways to practice asana! It supports embodiment, self-awareness and mind body flexibility & strength!

📿Meditation = more of a state of being then a practice…you can’t do this wrong! Supports connection, deeper understanding, mindful observation, and so much more!

The lessons yoga has taught me are many. Over the years I’ve learned that there are many misunderstandings about yoga.

➡️The most common misunderstanding is that yoga is just a physical practice and in reality it’s so much more.

➡️The deeper parts of yoga and its roots have been lost in the commercialization of the practice.

➡️The essence of yoga (intention) is self-awareness, mind body soul connection and creating a calm centered self. (Flexibility, Balance & Strength are bonuses)

➡️The are many paths beyond asana (the physical practice) to align you with these intentions.

➡️You can take a popular yoga class like vinyasa or power yoga and feel more chaos then calm. Every class is different, every teacher is different. Sometimes vinyasa or power are not the practices for you.

➡️While inversions and advanced poses like headstand, scorpion or crow are showcased as challenging it’s often more challenging to practice breathwork and be in a state of meditation.

➡️Practicing only asana (the physical practice of yoga) keeps you at the surface. There is a vast open ocean of possibilities, paths and practices within yoga when you dive into the depths.

These lessons are why I created Authentic Alignment YTT…Yoga in its fullness inspired empowerment, transformation and growth in me as well as many others I have journeyed through this program with.🦋

After 13 years of practicing yoga on and off the mat, 8 years of teaching and 5 sessions of teaching yoga trainings I have discovered so much about yoga and it’s power.

Most of us know yoga as a physical practice or workout….

Truth is yoga extends far beyond the asana or physical practice. It actually has many components that support wellness of body, mind and soul.

I can say yoga in its wholeness on the mat and beyond has been the practice that supported me to heal trauma, self-limiting beliefs and create freedom in body, mind and spirit.

This is why I share yoga. This is why I teach yoga. This is why I practice yoga consistently.

I’m inviting you to experience in its authentic fullness with me and Be With !

Sometimes it doesn’t need to be fixed. Sometimes the pieces need to fall away.

Sometimes the “doing” disempowers those you love.

Sometimes the “doing” overwhelms and stresses you out.
