On December 13th, 2025, we were so happy to host our Second Annual Sensory-Friendly Santa event at Graceful Speech-Language Therapy! This special experience allowed our clients to meet Santa in a low-stress, supportive environment thoughtfully designed to meet sensory needs. With a calm setting and flexible interactions, this event focused on inclusion, comfort, and joy, allowing every child to participate in a way that felt right for them.

We believe all children deserve positive, meaningful experiences that celebrate their individuality regardless of their communication skills. Thank you to our families for being part of such a memorable day!

We'd like to congratulate our clinical supervisor, Sarah, on her recognition in the Apraxia Kids SLP Directory! To be recognized, you must pass an exam and show exemplary skills in treating childhood apraxia of speech. Great job, Sarah! 🎉

Graceful Speech Language Therapy is excited to welcome Emily Ramsey to our team as an Administrative Assistant! Emily is a recent graduate of Maryville University in Missouri, where she earned her second bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She will be continuing her education at Ithaca University’s online Speech-Language Pathology graduate program based in New York, beginning in 2026.

Emily loves working with children and finds great joy in seeing the positive changes she helps create in their lives. She is actively involved in her church’s elementary Sunday School, where she thrives on teaching children God’s Word and nurturing their faith.

Outside of work, Emily is an avid reader who enjoys all genres—especially thriller and mystery novels. She loves being active, exploring the outdoors, and hiking trails to take in new and beautiful sights. Emily also enjoys traveling and is currently renovating a small camper with the goal of visiting every national park in the United States. A Disney enthusiast, she treasures her family trips to Orlando and all things Disney magic.

We’re thrilled to have Emily’s enthusiasm, compassion, and adventurous spirit as part of our Graceful Speech family!
