The Jude House's Re-entry simulation brought together a diverse group of community members to experience firsthand the challenges faced by individuals re-entering society. Through this experiential learning experience, participants gained a deeper understanding of the obstacles that can hinder successful reintegration and the role of privilege in determining outcomes. Despite initial hopes, many participants struggled with frustration, demonstrating the difficulties of re-entry. The event relied on the generosity of the Greater Waldorf Jaycees, who provided space and food, and the dedication of 20 volunteers who worked alongside 32 participants. This successful event would not have been possible without their support. Greater Waldorf Jaycees
