🎁 We’re heading into the holiday season!

I know we've said it before, but for a couple of reasons we have lost touch with some of our potential or existing volunteers. we’re taking time this week (Thursday and Friday) to reconnect with everyone on our current list and share what we’ve been working on.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with our upcoming holiday events and to assist with sending out our Christmas cards this year.

Of course, we also have our ongoing volunteer opportunities, listed in the photo below and on our website under “Volunteers.”

If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now is a great time to jump in and help us make this season special for youth in our community. 🎄

Light up those rooms. Dream so big that people question your sanity. I guarantee you are inspiring someone simply by not giving up. Just because we have a bad moment doesn’t mean a bad life.

Let them laugh. 🛑
Let them doubt you. 🛑
The reality is—- those who are crazy enough to believe that they could change the world…. 🌎 Usually do.

A little story I want to share…

Today I went to my 9 year old daughter’s conference at school. She is quite the hyper kid. She giggled through most of the conference knowing that the teacher was going to say she cannot sit still and often gets distracted. But the smile on her face when her teacher said ‘walk by her desk and look at her affirmations. ’

Over the last few years she has been through a lot when it comes to grief. She still seems to find strength to shine so bright and spread love. These were the affirmations she had on her desk. 💜 you are loved. Remember that.

Make recovery the next epidemic. ⭐️
