We are just under a year from loosing our 3 year old collie, River, to cancer. Her loss & those close to us experiencing similar, spawned the idea of "Keepsakes" - customized cremation creations to honor your loved ones.

It also spawned an idea I would like to put into practice -- a Rainbow Bridge located on our property here in Belfast. The bridge would be an area for those to gather & put collars on in honor of their past pet.

Our Goal : we get enough donated wood to help offset the cost of paint & labor to build the bridge. We would like to see it built and completed spring 2026 as I'm going to have to get permits & a builder first

This post is to put out feelers - one for wood donations, the other to see if our community would like a space like this here in our town
