Our 5th annual FREE 🎃👻Trunk or Treat👻🎃 is right around the corner! We are seeing if local businesses would be interested in sponsoring a trunk. Sponsorship would be $100 each and the business logo would be displayed next to the trunk it sponsors.
Additionally, we have a donation box at the shop for individuals to donate candy or party favor type toys if you are interested in helping out!

First - I would like to thank every one of you who has been a part of our story. We opened in October of 2014 with nothing more than a dream.
As we approach October 2025, our future isnt looking so bright. Anyone who knows me, knows we are not going down without a fight; which is why we are creating Keepsakes & other ways to stay in business.
I wont drag on - truthfully I have a lot to say; I posted a few of my favorite photos throughout the ten years.. I say a few because how does one summarize a decade? To be honest, I don't even know who I am without Rip Tide.
I've had my shop longer than I've been with Brit; I have met SO many amazing people along the way.. a lot who are no longer with us 🫶 which doesn't make any of this any easier..

We've been in magazines, on TLC (thank you 🫶) picked up trash, hosted trunk or treats, raised tens of thousands of dollars for animals, cancer funds, health issues, etc. We have won Business of the Year 5 times, hosted 5 Blow Outs, paid your bills..

But Rip Tide needs your help. Without the sale of ni****ne alternatives (ie, v**es) we are losing approximately 84% of our sales effective immediately. My staff is family; I have a lot of pressure to keep these families going..

My ask is this; if you haven't been in in a while, please stop by you don't know when it might be the last time. If you can, even if it's something small like a moodmat, we could use your support now more than ever. Equally as important, if you could help share our page - even after 11 years we are finding new people.

While we aren't throwing in the towel now, we have to face the future for what it is - and for us right now, its unsure. I love you all, thank you

Official Announcement!

The federal government has essentially stopped the import of all v**e products, effectively and quickly stripping us of 80% of our current income.

It has led us to lots of brainstorming and the creation of a new service offered by Rip Tide; Keepsakes

Keepsakes will offer options for customized cremations made into precious and beautiful mementos. We will be rolling out an official catalog shortly - so please DM us if you would like to be one of the first to commemorate your love into glass.

Thank you to Karma Glass and Slyme Glass for being the first official Keepsakes Artists; and to Natasha, for allowing us to honor Braun and proudly present him on our first official flier
