This Sunday, August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day . Recovery is happening all over Maine, but we know so many have still been impacted by loss. In recognition of that, we have teamed up with our local partners at the Washington County Recovery Friendly Workplace Network to bring you a new resource for your employees: "Healing After Overdose Loss: A Guide for Loved Ones"

The resources we have compiled range from ways to honor and pay tribute to a lost loved one to support groups and online and social media communities. Please feel free to share and distribute digitally or in print.

Beginning today, July 18th, Project Connect Community Recovery Center will no longer be excepting CLOTHING donations for the Backpacks for Reentry Program.

Beginning August 1st, the clothing closet portion of the Backpacks for Reentry Program will be closing.

We will still continue supplying backpacks to program participants in need, but will refer out if clothing is needed.

If you or someone you know has clothing needs, please feel free to drop in and take what you need.

Thank you to all who donated and continue to show such great support to our initiative.
