Care team members from MaineHealth Pediatrics Belfast and Rockport joined today’s first ever nationwide event in support of Cribs for Kids® National Infant Safe Sleep Initiative, who encouraged communities across the country to wear PJs for Safe Sleep Day. This fun awareness initiative is designed to spark conversations about infant safe sleep and share lifesaving information to help prevent suffocation in sleep environments. Congratulations to our care team members from Lincoln, Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals who recently completed the MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant to Medical Assistant Program! Over the past 13 weeks, each graduate committed to classroom learning, homework, hands-on skills labs and on-site clinical training with a Medical Assistant preceptor. They also successfully completed the national certification exam to become certified medical assistants. Please join us in celebrating their hard work and achievement!
