MaineHealth Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals have expanded their cardiac rehabilitation services with a new Cardiac Rehab Prevention program—designed for people at risk of developing heart disease. This 3-month program provides a supportive, structured environment with guided exercise, nutrition counseling, to***co cessation support, education, and individualized care from a healthcare team with 50+ years of experience.

“In this program, we remove barriers by providing supervised sessions, care and feedback in a safe, professional setting,” said Joel Paredes, manager of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. “Once you access us, we invest in you.”
