Private Home Care, Inc. is a personal care agency serving in-home clients in the Belfast, Maine and surrounding areas. Our Services address health, safety, and nutritional needs, as well as individual aspects of care such as personal interests and activities. We offer short- and long-term care services from three to 24 hours per day, always with back-up, to ensure that our clients and their families have reliable and consistent support. Clients are those who need assistance when the basic activates of daily living become unsafe or too difficult to handle alone. Care services range from light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, medication reminders, and transportation to personal care, including assistance with feeding, bathing, dressing, incontinence, and mobility. With a focus on quality and strong work ethic, PHC is dedicated to helping people live as comfortably and independently as possible in their homes. Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) are considered those activities that are more basic than the traditional. Activities such as shopping, light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation. (This also may include transporting to medical appointments). We are state registered, each employee fully insured and bonded.
