I haven't done a breeding season wrap up post the past couple years. I hope to get to that, but for today, I want to introduce...

💥 Pepinstep 💥

This 2018 stallion - barn name Flash - is by One Time Pepto and out of Better Sue (lte 51k+) by Bet On Me 498. He is owned by the Montana-based Theorem Ranch (if that name rings a bell, they were all over the equine news in August when they purchased $20M sire Stevie Rey Vonn!)

I had the privilege to work with Flash this season. He'd had minimal phantom training previously, but quickly figured out his job.
After a test cool, we shipped semen, and sent some down the road for MT Equine to use in their clinic for on site mares and for shipped embryo transfer. I got to stop in and see an embryo recovery - so cool! Thanks to Christine Gluch for coordinating everything with the clinic!

My sincere thanks to Theorem Ranch and Madelyne Cope for working with us! 💚 It will be exciting to see what Flash produces as a sire. Reach out to them for info on breeding to Pepinstep!

Congrats to Haylee on her purchase of DCS Maximum Effort!! 🤩
This 2 year old was our first Raph foal. Haylee fell in love with him and I'm thrilled to see him go to such a great owner.
I can't wait to see what this pair will accomplish in the future 💚💚

Huge congrats to Madison Wilkerson (and proud dad Steven)!! Madison finished the regular season 4th in Canada 🇨🇦

We are so excited to be a part of creating her next champions!
Last year we foaled out her retired good mare Peppy as a maiden for a nice little c**t, Yahtzee (by VF Big Daddy Stinson), bred mama Peppy back to Slick By Design, and this year foaled out a lovely filly, Lena, from that cross. (Peppy gets a year off this time!)
I can't wait to see what they're doing in a few more years!! Thank you for the trusting us with your future rock stars 🤩🤩

Our final mare foaled early the morning of the 2nd. She was 10 days 'early'... I'm glad I checked her that evening, and very glad she was showing some signs!
Shine is an experienced mama and did great with this filly.
Between my mares and client mares, thats 8 healthy mares and foals this year, can't ask for more!! 💚💚💚

On May 29, Peppy had her foal, a very nice looking filly by the one and only ✨️Slick By Design✨️. My phone pics don't do her justice!
We had foaled her out last year and got her bred again. It's so cool to be part of the conception and the birth 💕

May 26 saw Ruby the Welsh pony deliver her filly at 322 days gestation (340 is the average 'due date', for those not in the know). Thankfully she showed some classic signs a couple days beforehand and her owner was able to get her down here in time.
We bred Ruby last year with the last of the frozen semen on a deceased stud so this is a very special baby for the owners. 😊
