Patch Tests are a type of testing performed when a patient is suspected of having a contact dermatitis which is a skin rash that is due to an allergy to something their skin is coming into contact with. This is typically a delayed reaction that does not occur immediately when the allergen is applied to the skin, therefore it can be difficult for a patient to identify the cause of their rash. During a consultation with Dr. Rajan, she can examine your skin to see if you are experiencing a contact dermatitis and whether patch testing is a good option for you.

Did you know that May is National Asthma Awareness Month? Asthma is a chronic disease that causes inflammation and swelling
of the airways. This results in narrowing of the large and small airways that carry air from the nose and mouth to the lungs.
