Happy Mother's Day!
I recently visited the Georgia O’Keefe museum and snapped photos of these flowers to shamelessly promote va**nal rejuvenation!
Hey Moms! Giving birth is a beautiful experience,
and getting older is just a fact of life;
however, they can also affect your va**na.
We proudly offer va**nal rejuvenation with
ThermiVa, the O-shot, and HIFEM.
As a Mother’s Day promotion,
throughout May, the O-shot is $900!!!
The O-shot: the procedure that injects platelet rich plasma into the cl****is and va**na improving sensation, s*xual function and or**sm, lubrication, incontinence, and skin conditions such as atrophy and lichen sclerosis.
A recent April 2026 randomized controlled trial published in Obstetrics & Gynecology found that anterior va**nal wall injection of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) significantly improves s*xual function. The study showed 69.2% of treated women reported improved function at 6 months, citing enhanced lubrication and arousal.

Peptides: Promise, Hype, and What We Actually Know
Peptides are short chains of amino acids—essentially small proteins—that act as messengers in the body, signaling cells to turn certain functions on or off.
There’s growing excitement around peptides and their potential to support healing, aging, and performance.
In the future, we may be able to tailor precise peptide combinations to individual needs. For now, however, this space is still somewhat of a “Wild West”—full of promising claims, but also limited regulation, incomplete research, and important unknowns.
GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide)
GHK (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) is a naturally occurring peptide found in human blood. Levels decline with age—from about 200 ng/mL in young adults to around 80 ng/mL by age 60; yet no studies have linked low serum GHK levels with specific aging processes or age-related disease.
When bound to copper (GHK-Cu), it plays a role in:
• Skin repair and remodeling
• Wound healing and tissue regeneration, bone healing
• Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity
• Supporting blood vessel formation (angiogenesis)
• Possible nerve regrowth and cognition benefits
What’s promising:
• Well-studied in topical skincare, where it may improve skin quality, reduce visible damage, and increase collagen production
• May help clear damaged cellular debris and support tissue repair
What’s less clear:
• No strong evidence directly linking declining GHK levels to specific aging diseases
• Limited human data for systemic (injected) use
Risks & considerations:
• Reported side effects: dizziness, fatigue, diarrhea, and rare skin reactions (“copper uglies,” accelerated aging signs with overuse).
• Potential for copper toxicity with overuse
• Because it promotes blood vessel growth, there is a theoretical risk of supporting tumor growth, although some studies suggest anti-cancer effects in certain contexts (colorectal cancer in particular)
BPC-157 & TB-500 (“Recovery Peptides”)
These are often discussed together due to their use in injury recovery and tissue repair.
BPC-157
Body Protective Compound 157 is a synthetic peptide derived from compounds found in stomach acid.
Potential benefits (primarily from animal/preclinical studies):
• Accelerates healing of tendons, ligaments, and muscles
• Promotes angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation)
• Supports collagen production and reduces inflammation
• May repair mucosal integrity in the GI system
TB-500
A synthetic version of a naturally occurring peptide (Thymosin Beta-4).
Proposed effects:
• Enhances cell migration and tissue repair
• Reduces inflammation
• May improve flexibility and recovery after injury
Used together:
Often referred to as a “stack,” or the “Wolverine Blend” where:
• BPC-157 is thought to act more locally
• TB-500 works more systemically
Important considerations:
• Short-term use appears relatively safe, but long-term safety is unknown
• Like GHK-Cu, both promote blood vessel growth, which carries a theoretical tumor growth risk
Bottom Line
My take on injectables:
• Many products are unregulated. Buy from a reputable pharmacy licensed to treat human patients.
• Update your cancer screens (Women: Pap, mammogram, colonoscopy/Men: colonoscopy, PSA) before considering injectable peptides.
• If you have ever had cancer, you might consider alternative options.
• A 2 – 3-month trial of BPC157/TB500/GHK-cu (often referred to as the "glow blend") may help if you have an injury (bone, joint, muscular, or other), especially one that is not healing.
• A 2 – 3-month trial of BPC157 may help if you have GI issues (reflux, dyspepsia, irritable bowel…)
• A 2 – 3-month trial of GHK-cu may help if you have cognitive concerns.
• Longer periods of use should be individualized.
If you’re considering peptides, it’s important to have a thoughtful, individualized discussion about potential benefits, risks, and possible safer, evidence-based alternatives.

Calcium Supplements: Rethinking an Old Recommendation
For years, calcium supplementation was widely promoted for bone health—particularly after hormone therapy fell out of favor following negative press in 2002. As many women became hesitant to use estradiol—calcium supplements were often recommended as an alternative.
However, our understanding has evolved. Current evidence suggests that routine calcium supplementation is unnecessary for most individuals who obtain adequate calcium through their diet. At the same time, estradiol remains a highly effective and, for many women, appropriate option for maintaining bone health after menopause.
More importantly, emerging evidence raises concern that excess supplemental calcium may contribute to calcium buildup in the arteries, potentially increasing the risk of heart disease—particularly in individuals with existing atherosclerosis.
A recent article in the Journal of the American Heart Association adds to this growing body of evidence, urging caution with calcium supplements, especially for those at cardiovascular risk.
Bottom line: Focus on dietary calcium when possible and individualize supplementation based on your health profile.
