When struggles in school might be more than meets the eye 👁️✏️�
This third-grader came to us at Bellaire Family Eye Care with handwriting and learning challenges. What initially looked like learning difficulties was actually a vision issue that vision therapy helped address! Cases like these bring our entire team so much joy - there's nothing more rewarding than watching a child go from struggling to thriving! ��

While not every child who struggles academically needs vision therapy, it's important for parents and teachers to know that vision problems can sometimes look like:
✔️ Difficulty with reading or writing
✔️Poor handwriting or letter reversals
✔️Trouble focusing or frequent headaches
✔️Avoiding homework or saying "I can't see"
✔️Covering one eye while reading�
