Amy came to see Dr. Marvin over a year ago with diabetes, high blood pressure, and an elevated lipid level. She had a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy and has lost 90 lbs. her high blood pressure is well controlled, her elevated lipids have resolved, and her diabetes requires less insulin. She has more energy and just feels better. Nice work Amy!

Melissa had a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy with a hiatal hernia repair 7 months ago. She has lost 76 lbs! Her heartburn is gone. Her diabetes, high cholesterol and high triglycerides are also gone. She has also been able to reduce her high blood pressure medication. She is staying active and making good food choices. Lisa had a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) in 2016. She lost 75 lbs but began having problems with heartburn (GERD). This was treated with an acid blocking medication, but the heartburn persisted. In October 2020 her LSG was converted to a Gastric Bypass. Now she no longer has heartburn. She has lost an amazing 113 lbs from her original weight. In addition, her high blood pressure, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia have resolved. Way to go Lisa!!

Meagan had a Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy (LSG) and hiatal hernia repair 6 months ago. She has
lost 50 lbs and feels great. She has had significant improvement of her autoimmune symptoms and is no
