The Harris County Hospital District Foundation (HCHD Foundation) was proud to support and attend the 17th Annual Have a H.E.A.R.T. Luncheon, hosted by The HEART Program at the Hilton Americas Houston on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
In attendance included: HCHD Foundation Trustees, Mrs. Wanda LeBlanc, Dr. Peggy Smith, Mrs. Jennifer Tijerina, and Ms. Beth Young, HCHD Foundation Staff, Ms. Carolyn Amos and Ms. Veronica Washington, and Foundation Guest, Ms. Thalia Leal.
This year’s event honored not only the H.E.A.R.T. Program Trainee MVPs, but also our very own Chairwoman, Mrs. Kristin Garcia Blomquist, for her commitment to service and advocacy.

The H.E.A.R.T. Program is an initiative that empowers adults with developmental disabilities through education, job training, and employment opportunities.
