Dr. Lanning, a native of northeastern Indiana, attended Indiana University and received his bachelors in exercise science, biomechanics, & kinesiology. Throughout his time at Indiana, Dr. Lanning worked extensively with the athletic training programs and kinesiology departments. Dr. Lanning received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. While at Palmer, he received diplomats in Nerve Conduction Velocity and Electromyography Diagnostics; as well as, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques. Dr. Lanning has also held the positions of second VP and event coordinator on the world’s largest chiropractic sports council. Coordinating events that included but were not limited to: Ragnar Relay, FL. Ironman’s, United States Flag and Touch Football League Championships, United States Tennis Association, and LPGA tournaments. Dr. Lanning is an evidence-based practitioner who is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and The Ohio State Chiropractic Board. He utilizes techniques such as: manual adjusting of the spine and extremities, Palmer Diversified, Cox Flexion Distraction, Thompson, McKenzie rehabilitation, IASTM, MRT, and neurological manual treatments of the spine and extremities. Common conditions seen and treated by Dr. Lanning include: sports injuries, low back pain, sciatica, disc problems, TMJ, and headaches; as well as, spinal and extremity joint pain. He also treats occupational injuries, personal injuries, and those injuries and dysfunctions that result from the daily term described as life. He believes in treating patients with the same care that is expected from other physicians when providing for his family. He resides in Bellbrook, Ohio with his wife Bridget, who is from the Miami Valley area and alumni of The Ohio State University. In between rooting for their beloved Hoosiers and Buckeyes, he can be found spending time with his wife and family. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys exercising, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.
