Entrepreneur’s life — reality check.

What you see when you walk into a store is the finished version.

What you don’t see?

The reworking of layouts.
The constant shifting of products.
The trial and error of what actually sells and what doesn’t.
The back-and-forth, the second-guessing, the starting over.

None of this just “comes together.”

It’s built — piece by piece — and sometimes taken apart just as fast.

This week is one of those weeks.

Quiet work. Necessary work.

The kind that doesn’t get attention… but changes everything.

Entrepreneur’s life — reality check.

Some days it feels like everything rests on your shoulders… because it does.

There’s no one else to pass it off to. The decisions, the fixes, the pressure — it all lands here. And I won’t lie, that can get heavy.

But I also remind myself… this is something I chose.

I chose to build this.
I chose to take the risk.
I chose to keep going, even on the hard days.

And for that, I’m thankful.

Not because it’s easy — but because it’s mine to grow, mine to learn from, and mine to keep shaping into something better.

Still learning. Still showing up. Still grateful. 💜💜

Running this store isn’t easy — and I won’t pretend it is.

There are long days, hard decisions, and moments that stretch me more than I ever expected. There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes that most people will never see… and that’s okay.

Because what I do see makes it worth it.

I see this community showing up.
I see customers choosing to walk through our doors.
I see vendors trusting me with their products and their hard work.
I see conversations, laughter, and people connecting right here in this space.

That’s the part I don’t take for granted.

Yes, there’s a price to building something like this.
But there’s also a privilege in it.

So even on the hard days… I’m grateful.
Grateful to keep showing up.
Grateful to keep building.
Grateful for every single person who supports Ellis Farm along the way. 🤍

🚧 REMINDER (because I’m currently running on caffeine and chaos 😅) 🚧

Just in case you missed it… or I forgot to say it the first time…

👉 We’re CLOSING EARLY at 3:00 PM on Friday
👉 And CLOSED ALL DAY Saturday

Why? Because this place is getting a full-on reset… and right now it looks exactly like it feels — a little unhinged 😂

BUT…

✨ We’ll be back open Tuesday with a refreshed store, new goodies, and everything back where it’s supposed to be (hopefully).
