This page is designed to reach out to community members through social media. The Belle Plaine Area Ambulance Service cares, and we want to share with you what is going on with our service. The Belle Plaine Area Ambulance Service is both a Basic and Advanced Life Support Transport Service, meaning we employ Drivers, Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Advanced
Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT), and Paramedics (EMT-PM). We have about 30 employees currently, and are expanding due to community member interest in EMS. The Belle Plaine Area Ambulance Service is a private service, which means we are not funded by the city we operate in. We are also a transport service, so when duty calls, we are authorized to take our patients to the hospital of their choice, rather than wait for another towns EMS service to come pick up the patient. Dan & Elana Johnson manage the Belle Plaine Area Ambulance Service, and have since 2009. They strive to see their employees succeed. Dan & Elana are no more than a phone call away if needed. If you see them in the community, please, tell them "thank you."
