Due to the icy road conditions today, Friday, December 19, 2025, the Genealogical Society will be closed. Today was supposed to be our last day open for 2025. But for the safety of our volunteers we will close down early for our winter break. I want to thank all of our volunteers for their dedication over the last year. We will reopen on Sunday March 1, 2026. Weather permitting, of course. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Due to the forecasted cold and possibly snowy and icy weather conditions, we will be closed on Sunday, December 14, 2025, for the safety of our patrons and volunteers. We will reopen on Wednesday, December 17, 2025at 1 PM. Weather permitting.

The History Center will be closed November 26th through November 29th for the Thanksgiving holiday. The museum will be open November 30th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

Thank you to our fearless leader & her faithful companion for always standing up to the test and being willing to crash the scene of the Historian Center Kidsfest!! Certainly no dummies when it comes to having fun!!

Due to unforseen circumstances, the Society will be closed on Wednesday October 22. We will be open on Friday October 24, however the museum will be closed. We will also be closed on Sunday, October 26 so that the museum can be cleaned up after KidFest that takes place on Saturday October 25 from 1 - 3 pm.

On Saturday, November 1st, we will be having our annual members meeting at the Goshen Friends Church Youth Chapel, Zanesfield at 2 PM.. Light refreshments will be served. This is open to the public. Will be posting separately the special speaker info :)
