Another good read!! If you have difficulty letting go of things that you really cannot control, this is a great resource for you!! Mel Robbins is the author. She also has a YouTube channel and a daily blog. Check it out for your own peace and mental health.

THE ANXIOUS GENERATION by Jonathan Haidt
Is an excellent book about the impact smart phones have had on the mental health of this generation. If you are a parent, grandparent or educator I highly recommend you read this book. It not only explains a lot about what our young people are struggling with, but it also suggests some ways we can help buffer the impact of technology.

MALE DEPRESSION: Often goes undiagnosed. The symptoms often come out in anger, addictions and risk-taking behaviors. In the book "I Don't Want to Talk About It, Overcoming the Secret Legacy of Male Depression" Terrence Real states, "Men's willingness to downplay weakness and pain is so great that it has been named as a factor in their shorter life span. The ten years of difference in longevity between men and women turns out to have little to do with genes. Men die early because they do not take care of themselves. Men wait longer to acknowledge that they are sick, take longer to get help, and once they get treatment do not comply with it as well as women do." According to the CDC the su***de rate among males in 2023 was approximately four times higher than the rate among females.
