If you love someone struggling with addiction… this can feel like a lot.
The constant worry.
The overthinking.
Trying to say the right thing, do the right thing… and still feeling like it’s not enough.
You’re not alone in that.
🌿 We are starting a new group called
ROOTED: A Group for Families Navigating Addiction
This is a space for people who are tired of holding everything together on their own.
We won’t focus on fixing your loved one.
We’ll focus on you—how to stay grounded, set boundaries, and find your way back to yourself in the middle of it all.
Registration is required to join. If you are interested, call Sheila at (937)404-5705.

💬 You can make a difference.
Join us for an upcoming QPR Su***de Prevention Workshop and learn how to recognize the warning signs of su***de, start meaningful conversations, and connect someone to the help they need.
🗓 Workshop Options:
• May 20 | 2:00–4:00 PM
• May 26 | 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Location: MHDAS Board Office – 1521 N Detroit St, West Liberty, Ohio
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer—three simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life. You don’t need to be a mental health professional to support someone in crisis.
In this session, we’ll cover how to recognize warning signs, how to ask direct and compassionate questions, how to encourage someone to seek help, and how to connect them to appropriate resources. By the end of this training, you will be better prepared to act with care, confidence, and purpose.
Your willingness to learn these skills can make a meaningful difference—and may even save a life.
Together, we can build a more informed, compassionate community.

“Mental health isn’t separate from the rest of your life, it’s part of how you think, feel, connect, and move through your day.

Taking time to check in with yourself, set boundaries, or slow down can make a real difference.”
