We are excited to see how the new Youth Activity Room turns out at the Reach! This year, Community Wellness Grants from the Mary Rutan Foundation were awarded to programs that focused on youth mental health and youth healthy living. Mary Rutan Foundation is proud to invest in these programs that will be impactful in the lives of local children!

🤩 A Free Youth Activity Room Is Coming to Logan County 🎉

We are so excited to share that we have received a grant from Mary Rutan Health Foundation to create a free youth activity and wellness room at The Reach! With our $3,850 award from the Community Wellness Grant Program, our wellness room will have activity game tables with foosball and ping pong, an arcade-style basketball game, a healthy snack bar, a hydration station, and recipe books where youth can contribute their own recipes or find new ones to try. This will create a free, positive social environment for youth while encouraging youth to move around, hydrate, and enjoy a balanced diet. Thanks to Mary Rutan Health Foundation and C.O.O. Tammy Gump for presenting us with this grant today. Stay tuned to see the progress and the finished project!

Our Power Up 4 Fitness (PUFF) team got to visit Indian Lake Elementary School yesterday, where they shared lots of helpful information on how to keep the human body as healthy as possible through healthy habits. Thank you to all the students that spent a productive day learning with us! Go Lakers!

Happy snow day! With many schools closed today, many kids took to the outdoors to have some fun in the snow. This winter, remember to bundle up when outside! Especially when doing something like sledding. If you're not dressed properly while sledding, you risk frostbite. In addition to mittens, jackets and boots, ski masks can help protect you from the wind and keep your face toasty warm.

Inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals!

Today, our incredible team members hosted a job fair for local Ridgemont students! We loved showing students that healthcare has such a wide range of career paths you can take. From laboratory science and radiology to respiratory therapy, nursing, administration, IT, behavioral health, and so many other vital roles… there are countless pathways to make a meaningful impact in the medical field.

Our team is passionate about what they do and seeing them share that passion with future leaders is always inspiring. Thank you to all the students who came with curiosity, questions, and excitement for their futures!
