Epicurean Garden of Pennsylvania

Epicurean Garden of Pennsylvania This Garden is dedicated to the therapeutic study and practice of Epicurean philosophy.

We offer books, pamphlets, gift items, devotional jewelry and statuary, and in-person meditation and philosophical training upon appointment. The Epicurean Garden of Pennsylvania (EGP) is an unincorporated non-profit organization, religious destination and bookstore, educational and meditation center, and retreat dedicated to the therapeutic philosophy of Epicureanism (one of the schools of ancient Greek philosophy - http://epicurism.info/etexts/ier.html), serving all of Pennsylvania. We will be offering philosophical training and instruction sessions, and guided meditation by appointment. On the Feast of the Twentieth (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eikas), we may host a communal Eikas meal. On-site there are Epicurean books and devotional jewelry/statuary for sale. The locations where discussion and practice will take place will be the living room/parlor and backyard garden.
