Nominations are now open for the 2026-2027 Young Philatelic Leadership Fellows cohort! APS members are invited to nominate a collector aged 16 to 24 to participate in the program via the form linked below. The nomination period is open from now until January 15.

A new stamp issue for 2026 will feature the work of quiltmaker Harriet Powers, a formerly enslaved woman who was known for her story quilts. The issue features four panels from Powers' "Pictorial Quilt," which now resides at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Next year the U.S. Postal Service will celebrate the centennial of the iconic highway, Route 66. The new stamps feature stunning photography by David Schwartz, with images that capture the spirit of freedom and adventure often associated with the 2,400 mile stretch of road. 🚗🗺️🌵🚦
