USPS today issued a stamp honoring one of the most influential and beloved martial artists of all time, Bruce Lee. Born in San Francisco to parents visiting from Hong Kong, Lee was the founder of Jeet Kune Do and a giant of both Hollywood and Hong Kong action cinema. His roles in blockbuster films and acclaimed television shows revolutionized the action genre and continue to inspire filmmakers today.

Happy Valentine's Day from the APS! The pictured postcard (handmade with love by Laurie from used stamps) is winging its way to a West Virginia school. Students at the school are hoping to receive valentines from all 50 states this February as part of Hearts Across America. Big thanks to YPLF fellow Cole Longcor for sharing their request with us!

The Garards Fort Post Office opened in January 1934 and moved to its current location in 1942.
