To the Central Florida Pet Crematory Team and especially Hilary Christoph,
I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my sweet girl. My husband brought her in on the 8th and she came home to me the 9th. Thank you for such high levels of care and love in her final moments.
Meg was my first cat. I got her at a shelter with my Mima who was living in St Pete at the time. Mima passed away almost a year ago. Meg was a little part of her I had left. There was so many kitties at the shelter, but I knew first glance at her she was my soul kitty. She was around 6 months when we got her. Her name was already Meg and I didn’t have the heart to change it. She gained many nicknames over the years. Megaroni, Me-meg, Megaroo. She was a lap kitty. She was so sweet and affectionate. When she would purr up a storm she would trill sometimes. She loved a good snuggle under a blanket. Her favorite toy was any of my hair ties. And she loved a good box. Over her 15 years we did so much together. We moved to Tennessee in 2019. We rescued a kitty from Pennsylvania. (My calico, Lula). I had my first baby. We moved back to Florida 2024. I birthed my second baby. She found she had hyperthyroidism when she was 8; got her on the pills she needed. Meg gradually became very bony in her final months but her passing feels so sudden. The hole in my heart and house is nearly unbearable. We miss her so much.
I feel blessed I was able to be with Meg when she crossed the rainbow bridge to Mima.
Thank you Hilary for the utmost care. Knowing a great team was there for her brings me some peace.
Forever grateful,
Jade Martin
