I’ve crossed the bridge to endless light,
Where days are warm and skies are bright,
But though I dwell in peace above,
My heart still beats with human love.
I miss your touch, your gentle hand,
The way we'd walk across the land,
Your laughter bright, your voice so dear,
These memories I hold so near.
In fields of green, I run and play,
Yet part of me longs for the days,
When by your side, I'd proudly stand,
Your loyal friend, your close command.
I feel the tears you shed for me,
The longing in your heart, I see,
And though we’re worlds apart, my friend,
My love for you will never end.
At night, I visit in your dreams,
To comfort you in moonlight’s gleam,
I’m by your side, so close and near,
Whispering love you still can hear.
Know that my spirit’s always close,
In gentle winds and morning’s glow,
I’m watching over, guarding you,
In every moment, tried and true.
One day we'll meet, no more goodbyes,
In realms where only joy resides,
Until that time, hold on to this,
My endless love, my gentle kiss.
Remember all the times we shared,
The walks, the games, how much we cared,
I’m waiting here, just past the sky,
With open paws and watchful eye.
So live your life with all your might,
And know I’m with you, day and night,
Though I have crossed to light above,
