January is often associated with depression due to reduced sunlight, disrupting circadian rhythms and impacting mood-regulating chemicals like serotonin, leading to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) symptoms like fatigue and low mood, compounded by post-holiday financial stress and the pressure of failing New Year's resolutions, creating a "winter funk" for many.
Sunrise Yoga on Mondays at 9:00 offers breathing techniques, gentle movements, and meditation.
Tuesdays Chair Yoga at 10:00 is the same as Sunrise Yoga but more accessible for those with health and mobility issues.
Wednesdays Yoga for Stress & Anxiety Release at 5:30 is 75 minutes of calm. Enjoy gentle stretches, slow intentional asanas, breath work all designed to release stress, anxiety and strongholds. Class is held in a candlelit room allowing you the quiet and relaxation from the outside world.
