My Third Leg is located in upstate New York in the small hamlet of Belleville. Bob is proud to be able to give his personal service to anyone interested in knowing more about his canes. He is alway willing to do what he can to help aa person anyway he can. of the company designed and carved his first cane from a piece of maple lumber after having hip replacement surgery in 1999. Parow had so many
inquires about his cane that he began carving them and offering canes for sale on the internet and to individuals who approached him on the street. Many people who saw Mr. Parow would say I see you have your third leg with you. In 2004 he had his design copyrighted under the trademark "My Third Leg". In 2008 Bob decided that his cane was too expensive for most people and chose to have the cane manufactured from polycarbonate. Not knowing how the sale of the polycarbonate cane would be accepted, he cautiously had 5000 canes produced. It has proven to be a great choice.
