This April, we are partnering with the NCK Health Care Foundation and North Side Pizza & More to create a special place and time(s) to discuss women’s health in Republic County.

Despite not having a universal definition, women’s health is trending—driven by historic underinvestment and gaps in scientific research. Locally, that trend is being reinforced by the addition of Dr. Lexia Zenger to our team.

The medical campus in Belleville enjoys strong female leadership at multiple levels, and throughout April, we will build on that strength by bringing women together. Come and go, and enjoy each activity in a relaxed, non-clinical setting. Make it a date with girlfriends. But, do not miss your chance to ask a cross-section of the region’s physicians, nurses, technologists, physical therapists, and executives where women’s health has been and where women’s health is going.

Even if you do not doctor in Belleville, this is your opportunity to shape the future of women’s healthcare in and around the region. These events are for women of all ages and are designed to support and inspire each and every one of them.

Share this flyer and be on the lookout for more details as each event draws near!

When USD109 senior Matayah Martinez approached our new director to support her 2025-2026 senior project, he had no idea how deeply the imaging and radiology department at Republic County Hospital had impacted her health. She didn’t lead with her story. She led with her desire to help.

In Matayah’s young lifetime, she has experienced firsthand the department’s growth from a "big, scary truck” into a state-of-the-art facility today. We’re proud of that story, and we’re proud of hers! Please consider supporting Matayah’s campaign to uphold the highest quality services in diagnostic imaging and radiology in north-central Kansas and south-central Nebraska. Use the link provided below or use the QR code in her senior project flyer attached.

And, last but not least, Thank You, Matayah, for bringing your quiet grace to the NCK Health Care Foundation!

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Larry Troshynski and Phil Zappa, our incredible CRNAs at RCH. Their dedication and expertise make a world of difference every day, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care, right here at home.

Did you know that CRNAs provide more than 80% of anesthesia care in rural areas...and we've got two of the best in Republic County!

Larry and Phil ensure patients undergo surgery and procedures safely, and that patients have access to pain management; all with compassion, skill, and assurance.

Please join us in thanking them for all that they do.
