I put this job off as long as I could but I had to move the meat birds out of the brooder and into the tractor. They stink and flop so bad I always end up eating feathers and bedding when I catch them.

The new tractor handles the round bales much better than my little tractor. She can do it but it makes her tired.

I keep seeing posts for week old calves that are over $1,000 and I can’t help but think back in my day “I remember when you could get a bottle calf for next to nothing. People would give them away so they didn’t have to mess with them.”
