I spent another wonderful morning being a witness to the amazing work done by Belleville West High School Student Council members.

They continue to impress me while they teach the "littles" about healthy habits, including: a diverse and healthy diet, proper oral health, good hand washing habits, and the importance of vaccinations!

A FULL day of fun at Illini Elementary School! Along with the incredible Student Council students from Belleville West High School, a second Teddy Bear Clinic was held this afternoon!

I'm never sure which group has more fun: the 'littles' or the high schoolers; either way, it was another incredible afternoon of watching health education in action while having so much fun!

We were even able to add in some extra fun - simple interaction between the students. My heart is full!

2026 is off to a great start!

Students from Belleville West High School's Student Council never disappoint! They are great teachers and add so much fun to our Teddy Bear Clinics.

"Littles" from Illini Elementary School enjoyed learning about staying healthy: proper handwashing, oral health, healthy food choices, and vaccines were all a part of a wonderful morning!

We held another wonderful Teddy Bear Clinic at Roosevelt Elementary School! The 'littles' had a blast and learned so much!

The High School Students from Belleville West are amazing leaders and make this a fun learning experience for the 'littles!'

Today's Teddy Bear Clinic at Union Elementary School was the final one of this school year!

As always, it was magical and the 'littles' learned so much while having the best time!

AND, the students from Belleville West continue to impress me and give me so much hope for our future!

A big shout out to every student who has been a part of this year's Teddy Bear Team and to Lisa Krummrich Quandt for her endless support!

You all make our world so much better and I am beyond proud to know you!

Belleville West High School's CFA Leadership Academy in partnership with St. Clair County Health Department is hosting a Teddy Bear Clinic Saturday, March 22 from 9 am to 12:30 pm for kids age 4 and up.
